Landing Zone Sprint
A Landing Zone Sprint builds the secure foundation of your cloud environment as code: account or subscription structure, single sign-on, network layout, guardrails, central logging and billing controls. It is delivered in your repositories with documentation, in a fixed time-boxed scope.
- Typical duration
- Typically 2 to 4 weeks, depending on accounts and requirements, confirmed in the written scope
- Format
- Fixed scope, delivered as code in your repositories, documented handover
- Led by
- A named senior engineer
Who this is for
- Startups moving from a single account to a structured multi-account setup
- Teams replacing a console-built environment with infrastructure as code
- Companies adding a new region, business unit or regulated workload
- Organisations that need a clean foundation before a migration
What is included
Account and subscription structure
A multi-account or multi-subscription layout separating production, non-production, shared services and security.
Identity and access
Single sign-on, role-based access, break-glass access and removal of long-lived credentials.
Network foundation
Address planning, private networking, segmentation, and controlled connectivity to the internet and to other networks.
Guardrails
Preventive and detective controls such as service control policies or Azure Policy, aligned to a recognised baseline.
Central logging and audit trail
Audit logs collected centrally, protected from tampering and retained to an agreed period.
Cost controls
Budgets, alerts and tagging standards so spend is visible from day one.
Everything as code
Terraform modules and pipelines in your repositories, with pull-request review for every change.
Documentation and handover
Architecture diagrams, a how-to for adding accounts and workloads, and a handover session for your team.

How it runs
- 01
Requirements and design
We agree structure, compliance needs, regions and naming, and confirm the design in writing.
- 02
Build in code
We build the foundation as Terraform, reviewed through pull requests in your repositories.
- 03
Validate
We test guardrails, access paths and logging against the agreed design.
- 04
Document and hand over
We write the operations guide and train your team to extend the landing zone.
- 05
Optional follow-on
We can help migrate workloads or operate the platform, or you can continue alone.
Every package starts with a short scoping call. We then confirm scope, deliverables and timeline in writing, and you decide whether to go ahead. Prices are quoted for that fixed scope, not as a rate card.
Who you will work with
Engagements are led by a named senior engineer, not passed to an anonymous team.
CEO, DevOps / SRE / Cloud Consultant Engineer
You keep everything
No lock-in, by design. If you stop working with us, nothing you rely on stops working.
Your accounts
Everything runs in cloud accounts and subscriptions you own and control.
Your code
Infrastructure code, pipelines and configuration live in your repositories.
Your documentation
Architecture notes and runbooks are written for your team and handed over.
A defined exit
We agree the handover steps in writing, and access is removed when the work ends.
