AWS EKS Consulting Services

We design, migrate, harden, and optimise Amazon EKS clusters for production workloads. Whether you are moving from self-managed Kubernetes, cutting a runaway EC2 bill, or hardening a cluster ahead of a SOC 2 audit, we can help.

Our founder holds the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.

Pain points we fix

Self-managed Kubernetes is too operational

EKS offloads control plane management, patching, and HA to AWS, freeing your team for application work.

EKS costs are unpredictable and high

Karpenter, Spot interruption handling, and commitment discounts can reduce your compute bill, depending on workload, while protecting reliability.

Cluster security is unclear

Default EKS setups often need hardening for production. We apply CIS benchmarks, RBAC least-privilege, and Pod Security Standards.

Version upgrades are risky

Skipping versions can cause add-on breakage. We plan, test, and execute upgrades across dev, staging, and prod, with rollback plans for your workloads.

No observability into cluster health

We set up Prometheus, Grafana, and alerting so you can spot an unhealthy node or an OOM-killed pod early.

Networking is a black box

VPC CNI tuning, security groups for pods, and PrivateLink endpoints, we configure EKS networking correctly from day one.

Our process

  1. 01

    Discovery and current-state audit

We review your existing Kubernetes setup, workloads, networking topology, and AWS account structure. You get a written findings report with recommended EKS architecture.

  2. 02

    Architecture design

We design the target EKS configuration: control plane version, node group strategy, networking, IAM, and add-ons. All decisions are documented with trade-offs.

  3. 03

    Build and migrate

Terraform modules written, cluster provisioned, workloads migrated service-by-service with parallel testing in the new cluster before cutover.

  4. 04

    Handover and documentation

Runbooks written, team trained on day-to-day operations, upgrade schedule set, and optional managed operations handed over.

FAQ

What is Amazon EKS?
Amazon EKS is a managed Kubernetes control plane on AWS. In the standard model you manage worker nodes, AWS operates the API server and etcd, and you start control plane version upgrades.
How long does an EKS migration take?
It depends on the number of workloads, networking changes, and stateful components. We give a scoped estimate after discovery.
How much can EKS cost optimisation save?
Savings depend on your workloads. Karpenter, Spot instances, right-sizing, and commitment discounts can reduce compute costs, and we estimate the potential after reviewing your usage.
Do you support Fargate on EKS?
Yes. We advise on when Fargate profiles make sense versus managed node groups based on your burst requirements and cost profile.
What EKS security hardening do you do?
RBAC audit, Pod Security Standards, network policies, IRSA, secrets encryption with KMS, and assessment against the CIS EKS Benchmark.
Can you help with EKS upgrades?
Yes. We plan and execute in-place version upgrades, handle add-on compatibility, and validate workloads after each upgrade using rolling updates designed to limit downtime.
